Conceived for and by downtown Sarnia, Ontario, Empty Spaces is a monthly indie-music concert series that features local and visiting talent. Hosted in a variety of venues from bars, to churches to backyards, we’ve enjoyed the likes of some of Canada’s best independent acts including:

Grimes, Olenka and the Autumn Lovers, Ohbijou, Hooded Fang, Cousins, Bruce Peninsula, Timber Timbre, Forest City Lovers, Rah Rah, Spiral Beach, Green Go, The Mountains and the Trees, The O’ Darling, Wax Mannequin, The Great Bloomers, Boys Who Say No, Zachary lucky, wild domestic, chocolate robots

and plenty more!

Empty Spaces began with a vision of putting on awesome shows in the many 'empty spaces' we saw in downtown Sarnia. While this hasn't exactly come to fruition, both due to legal reasons and the increasing lack of empty spaces in our downtown (sweet!), we still pride ourselves on the venues we work with.
